Wc844 powder where to buy

I'd like to hear how wc pans out though. I'm in the market to cover the next couple administrations. Last edited: Dec 17, RampedRaptor Sergeant Full Member.

All loaded on Dillon No issues or complaints as long as you understand what h is. Reactions: supercorndogs , FishDr and clcustom Feb 9, 1, 1, PNW. It's close to H but they aren't the same. Lot to lot it can be different because it is commercial powder. Apr 10, 1, West KY. I use It like H but not to top end of velocity. Meters in Dillon and Lee powder measures extremely well.

Reactions: clcustom Just what I'm looking for. Plinking 55 and 62gr AR loads metered out of a Dillon for filling ammo cans. That's all I make for 5. Edited to add: using mil- surp 62 gn steel core American does auctions on Gunbroker, and you can get it a bit cheaper that way, but the bid lots are for 16 lbs, and they do not combine shipping. All that they are selling this week is WC But that should be fine for 55gn. Last edited: Dec 18, Dill Gray Man Full Member. Armory » Reloading. I have an opportunity to buy some of this WC powder. What's the hive say about this powder? Any good?

What's is worth per pound? WC is pretty spot on to H, although it has a flash inhibitor required by the military to reduce its signature. All of my 5. YMMV of course. Price wise it's worth whatever you think it's worth, but stick below that of new H once you include shipping and all. Burned a lot in blasting ammo about 10yr ago, then started using it in with suppressor,, got expensive to use. I've bought several lots of WC over the last many years.

I've bought lots of it that said "Virgin-Never loaded" and pull-down powder. Most lots have been close to the same burn rate , a couple lots have been much slower than normal, and one lot was much faster than the others. You HAVE to work up loads every time you switch lots of surplus powder. I'd recommend H instead unless the WC is all you can find. Like mentioned it could be a new powder never loaded or it could be several years old and dumped from pulled down ammunition. Just don't buy the Tracer version Quote History.
