Festool why so expensive
Thus, Festool came up with lots of updated tools that take less than an hour to do the woodwork. Festool is a setup brand that is known for top-notch, accuracy instruments. The high sticker price Festool requests are similarly as noteworthy as their instruments. So, Why is Festool so expensive? Festool is costly, indeed, yet why? These apparatuses are quality totally and trusted by numerous top of the line carpenters. It is costly! Does that imply the Festool is overrated?
That involves assessment and my eventual no. Cash is a valuable asset, and as carpenters, we need to spend it admirably. Festool machines are estimated higher than practically some other brand of force apparatus. Are those costs advocated? The appropriate response lies in the outcomes. Festool influence devices are designed as a framework to give proficient, precise results without fail, getting a good deal on each work regarding the time saved and trying not to squander important material.
Festool has additionally put vigorously in highlights that help guard you, mostly as to tidy control. Assisting with forestalling your inward breath of airborne residue particles that are currently known to be hurtful cancer-causing agents.
Every one of these variables helps make Festool power apparatuses an extraordinary worth and justified even despite the cost. After knowing a lot about its worth, you might have some questions in mind regarding some specific topic. We tried to select all the common problems that everybody thinks of before buying tools from an expensive brand.
Both Festool and DeWalt are old companies that supply different tools. Dewalt tools are expensive, but the price range of Festool tools is three to four times higher. QuailRider43 Posts: I'm fortunate enough to have the money to buy any Festool product I feel I need, but the reason I have that money in the first place is I'm not stupid.
The product has to be worth the cost. Sadly, Festool is often insulting to it's customers with regards to pricing. Festool has priced itself completely out of that market, for no good reason. Even my local Festool dealer trashes the pricing trends, and has said on more than one occasion that a lot of their products are not worth the money.
This coming from a Festool dealer! If I had to buy one today, I wouldn't do it. Festool needs to realize that their customers are not suckers, and we'll look elsewhere if their products do not have reasonable value. Please reduce your prices. It's some bits of plexiglas and some screws that any skilled hobbyist can whip up in an afternoon from spare parts.
It's prices like this that I find truly disgusting, and ultimately make me question the value of all Festool products. Nigel Posts: Yes Festool is expensive that's for sure, however nobody touches them for sanders, extractors and of course Dominos, there's just no comparison. I would hate to work without them now. I don't understand!?! I keep cutting it,and it's still too short! Quote from: mastercabman on March 12, , AM. Let me make things a little clearer I don't expect a short piece of wood that was on the floor it did not fall from a height it was leaning and just toppled onto my ct26 and broke it. I would expect something, anything that fell of a scaffold to suffer some damage exactly as you describe. MGB Posts: Flatsawn Posts: I'm waiting to read how the Makita or Dewalt track saw is as good or better than the festool.
I'm contemplating a ts I was considering buying the DF XL. It took me a while to choke down the price. Went to buy it last week and got ticked when I seen it only comes with one cutter.. The least they could do is include one of each size cutter and maybe some dominoes They nickel and dime you to death on everything from vac bags, hoses, sand paper, parallel guides, ect ect It ticked me off to the point I walked out without buying it.
I like their tools but I am fed up with their gouging on the small stuff. Not sure I will buy any more festool because of it. Hey you need to get yourself back down to that dealership and buy the you will not regret it.

It is ultra smooth as well. These reasons are for the saw. I have only had to contact Festool for minor things, but they have come through for me. For example, I bought a router bit from a dealer that was clearancing it out.
It did not come with the bearing it was supposed to. I called Festool and they just shipped me a brand new bit with bearing and told me to keep the old…that is service. They stand behind their products and go out of their way to make customers raving fans. Add to this innovative tools like the Domino and Carvex and a host of other new products and that is a winning combination.
This is not to say that other tool companies do not make high quality, accurate products and offer excellent service — they do and Bosch is certainly one such company that falls into this camp. But I do not think that Festool is overrated in the least.
They have a price for entry but I personally think it is worth every penny. Perfect Scot, that was the kind of stuff that I wanted to hear. This is a good argument for Festool, and some strong points. The vac is also used on every project. You can add different components based on need. I started with a Fein, but quickly learned that the anti-static properties of the Festool was worth it as I would get zapped with static shocks when sanding in dry weather.
I had a feeling Scot would have some good thoughts on Festool. Definitely see the purpose and value, but I am definitely highly impressed with all my Bosch tools. This topic has 38 replies, 12 voices, and was last updated 7 years, 11 months ago by DirtyWhiteBoy.
